Being a feminist who doesn't hate men!
On our 5th date together, he asked me, "So you are not a feminist, are you?"
And I told him that I sure was!
He dumped me the next-day.
"Why? Why do all men seem to hate feminism?" I asked myself.
Hey everybody! It took me some time to think of a title like that and I hope it worked, I hope that boys didn't run away from this particular blog as many of them do on hearing the word #feminism!!
Well, I believe feminism is a wrong concept.
Atleast it must not be an individual concept, maybe, it is a sub part of humanism.
HUMANISM is a movement which stands for getting equal social, economic amd political rights for all human beings.
Feminism just picks out the females from these humans.
But is that correct?
Giving women a special preference?
What is feminism all about?
Seeing a world where women can stand next to men as their equals, right? A world where no one would prefer either sex.
Feminism however voilates it's own concepts. It gives the rights of women a priority.
Surely we all agree that men and transgenders too might have had their rights voilated? They might have had suffered too? So do they not deserve justice because of their gender? Should it be women first?
When you ask yourself these questions, you will find the answer of the question I asked myself above. Men don't seem to hate feminism because they don't want women to get their rights. They hate it because it never says anything about their rights, their justice.
So I decide not to be a feminist from this day onwards.
I decide to be a HUMANIST. I will stand next to every human being, either a male or a female or a transgender who feels their rights have been voilated.
